Tucked away behind historic walls in the heart of Chelsea, the gardens feel like a hidden oasis in the middle of the city. Georgia and Piers chose this remarkable setting for their late summer wedding, beginning their day at The Goring Hotel before a ceremony at Christ Church Chelsea and a joyful reception among the gardens and marquee at Chelsea Physic Garden.

BRIDAL PREPARATIONS AT THE GORING HOTEL

Georgia began the morning at The Goring Hotel in Belgravia, one of London’s most iconic hotels and a wonderful place for wedding preparations. Surrounded by her mother and close family, the atmosphere was relaxed and full of anticipation as she stepped into her elegant Mira Zwillinger dress, perfectly complemented by delicate jewellery by Delaval Knight. The calm light of the hotel rooms and the quiet excitement of the morning made for beautiful, intimate moments before the celebrations began.

CEREMONY AT CHRIST CHURCH CHELSEA

The ceremony took place at Christ Church Chelsea, a historic church just moments from Chelsea Physic Garden. With its striking architecture and peaceful atmosphere, it provided a beautiful setting for Georgia and Piers to exchange their vows surrounded by family and friends. After the ceremony, guests gathered outside the church before walking together through Chelsea towards the gardens, where the celebrations continued.

RECEPTION AT CHELSEA PHYSIC GARDEN

The reception took place at Chelsea Physic Garden, one of London’s most unique wedding venues. Guests arrived to the sound of Dom and the Ticklers playing as they entered the gardens, immediately setting a relaxed and celebratory atmosphere. Surrounded by lush planting and historic glasshouses, the gardens provided an extraordinary backdrop for drinks and photographs.

Later, guests gathered in the elegant marquee for the wedding breakfast, where long tables, beautiful florals by Millie Richardson, and thoughtful details created a warm and joyful setting. As the evening unfolded, the gardens glowed in the late summer light and the celebrations continued with music, laughter and dancing.
