ABOUT THE PHOTOGRAPHER
ROMANTIC AT HEART. ADVENTUROUS BY NATURE. PHOTOGRAPHING REAL LIFE.
MEET YOUR PHOTORAPHER
Documentary wedding photographer.
Fifteen years of live events.
A genuine love of what happens when people gather.
Still, after 300 weddings, completely fascinated by what unfolds when everyone someone loves is in the same room.
Before weddings, I spent a decade working in live events — understanding pace, energy, the creation of experiences, and what it means to be fully present when something unrepeatable is happening around you. That background is in everything I do. I know how a day is built, and I know where to be when the unexpected moments happen — which is always when the best photographs are made.
I love the creative freedom and unpredictability of a wedding day. No two couples are the same, and everything about your day will be unique — from the backdrop to the energy, the weather to the vows. I want my pictures to reflect that individuality.
"My style is rooted in documentary photography, but with an editorial sensibility — real moments, naturally captured, with details photographed in context and with meaning."
BACKGROUND
A career change that began
with a camera in Marrakech.
It started as a career change — and Marrakech is where it ignited. Working there taught me that patience, observation, and building real relationships with people are everything. The best images don't come from directing; they come from being trusted enough that people forget you're there.
My first wedding confirmed what I already suspected: that weddings combined everything I'd been instinctively drawn to. The pace, the emotion, the way complete strangers become a room full of shared history within a few hours. I've been photographing them ever since.
"My editing style reflects the same instincts — true to colour, warm and rich, informed by art and light. Images that feel timeless rather than of a moment."
"We chose Helen after being at another wedding she photographed a few years ago. She blended seamlessly into the day but also seemed to be everywhere at once — able to capture it all. I would definitely recommend her."

LONDON
I live in East London with my partner and our dog — in a city that never stops feeding my curiosity. The culture, the art, the noise, the contradictions. London is endlessly inspiring, and I think it shows in how I work: drawn to energy, to texture, to the moments that happen when people are fully alive in a place.
TRAVEL AND PERSPECTIVE
Travel has shaped my love of colour, light, and connection with cultures.
A camera has always been the thing that draws me into the world rather than standing outside it — a way of connecting with places and people, of being welcomed in rather than observing from a distance.
Weddings bring together everything I love about travel: the specificity of a place, the energy of people, the way cultures express joy and connection. Every wedding is different, and that's the point. The openness you need to travel well is exactly the openness you need to photograph a wedding — a willingness to follow what's unfolding rather than impose what you expected.
WORKING TOGETHER
I'm not just there to photograph. I'm there to support you through the whole day.
I'll help you think through your timeline, advise on the flow of the day, and bring a calm, experienced presence from the moment I arrive. With over 300 weddings behind me, I've learned to anticipate the subtle moments — a fleeting glance, a quiet exchange between generations, the image that happens when nobody else is watching.
My role is to make sure you never have to think about me. You should be completely absorbed in your day, trusting that everything is being seen and held. Think of me as the person whose job it is to notice everything before you do — and quietly fix it.
THERE'S ALWAYS MORE TO NOTICE
Guides, reflections, and observations from over a decade of photographing people, places, and the passing of time.
Real wedding stories, practical guidance, and occasional writing from the places that have informed my eye.
