One of my favourite aspects of wedding photography is the connections I make with couples and families that lead me to continue to be a part of their lives as their families grow meaning that I get to witness and document pregnancies, new borns, children’s birthday parties and regular family shoots. Time passes so fast when children are small and the changes over a year can be huge. Regular photo sessions can capture some of that magic for a priceless record of these early years and moments that can easily be forgotten in the hectic pace of life.
PORTRAITS AT HOME
All shoots take place in your home environment where you and your children feel most comfortable - away from studios, posing props and harsh lighting. I love to work with natural light and enjoy the challenge and creative stimulation of photographing in new environments filled with family momentos, pets and personal histories.
A DAY IN THE LIFE DOCUMENTATION
I offer the option of a short 1 hour shoot or through to joining you and your family for a day over a weekend - capturing an entire day in the life of your family. From breakfast through to bedtime - whether that involves simply the usual family chaos at home or taking a day trip out into the country and finding the beauty and magic in normal every day authentic moments.
CELEBRATING MOTHERHOOD
An in-home session can simply be about you and your baby. Or you and your partner and your baby bump. For these short sessions I can bring along a make up artist to ensure that you feel pampered and at your best in front of the camera. I’m completely flexible about the timings of these shoots so we can work around your babies nap or feeding time as well as the best time of day for natural light.
UNIQUE FAMILY PHOTOGRAPHY
No two families are the same and so every session is different. Homes, ages, sizes can all make a difference and I’ll respond and capture your family as it is. No direction just allowing your family story to unfold - no posing or silly props, no artificial lights or studios, no forced smiles or saying cheese - just your family being at it’s most natural
PHOTOGRAPHY IN LONDON AND BEYOND
I’m based in London and so available for shorter sessions in London but I’m happy to come out to your home out of town for longer sessions. It really doesn’t matter whether you are in a tiny flat or a country house. Any backdrop works if it is yours.
PHOTOGRAPHY AT YOUR CHILDREN’S PARTIES OR CHRISTENINGS
I’ve been photographing children’s parties for many years and capturing children of all ages so I’m more than used to spending a couple of hours on my knees in a the middle of a ball pool. I also regularly attend christenings and the gatherings afterwards to document these occasions.
A PHOTOGRAPHIC FAMILY HEIRLOOM
At the end of the shoot I’ll delivery a full gallery of images in high resolution for you to keep, download and share with friends and family. In addition I offer more tangible products which hopefully can be treasured and enjoyed for many years to come as a piece of art for the coffee table or walls:

My packages are upfront and you can order further reasonably priced images through your gallery, or download the images to print yourself. Shoots outside of London will incur travel charges.
