Intimate London Wedding Photography at Marylebone Old Town Hall

Like many couples at the moment, plans are being shifted as restrictions change on a regular basis making it almost impossible to plan anything. Sophie and Alistair were due to get married in August but had to move to September and it was during the short window when up to 30 guests were allowed. It was a Sunday afternoon, gloriously sunny, and quiet at the town hall as only one wedding is taking place at a time at the moment. There are some restrictions but the air of triumph in managing to have a ceremony during these times seems to be strong!

Sophie looked so fabulous in a gold dress and bright red lipstick and a permanent smile.

The ceremony was enjoyed by additional guests who Zoom-ed in to watch.

After confetti on the steps we took a short walk to the pub 35 New Cavendish Street where they had the upper floors for cake, cheese and champagne and cake cutting before I took my leave.

It’s definitely a very new way of working - dropping in for a few hours of a couple’s day rather than a full 8-10 hours encompassing so many more people. I have to say I’m enjoying the new normal and there is definitely more a a relaxed vibe to these smaller weddings; less pressure for those couples who don’t particularly enjoy being the centre of attention.

If you are thinking of eloping or having a small and intimate wedding in London in the coming months please do get in touch. I have lots of availability especially as many people are choosing days throughout the week rather than a Saturday.
