After a rather rainy summer season here in the UK I was pretty thrilled to be getting on a plane to Ibiza at the end of the summer to shoot Sim and Josh's wedding at his mother's beautiful villa Can Amonita in the hills of Ibiza. As always happens when you arrange a wedding at home the organisational task is mammoth and Sim picked me up at the airport with a huge to do list on her bare knees in the car. Having not met them before that point it was so lovely to spend a bit of time with them before the day.
I was with the girls for the preparations at the Villa, including a rather emotional round of Oracle Cards given to Sim by her mother in law to be which brought on many tears! Once they were ready we headed up the steep cliff roads to Hacienda Na Xamena where she would put on the dress and return at the end of the day with Josh. The Hacienda has literally one of the best outlooks I've seen from a hotel, steep cliffs dropping down to sparkling bays.
Back at the villa the ceremony took place around the pool before guests enjoyed the reception and wedding breakfast in the ground of the villa. The surrounding forest made a perfect backdrop for their portraits.
