INTIMATE WINTER WEDDING AT CHELSEA OLD TOWN HALL, LONDON
R + L
Rosie and Laura’s winter wedding in London was a beautifully intimate celebration centred around the iconic Marylebone Old Town Hall. Surrounded by close friends and family, they exchanged vows in one of the historic ceremony rooms before stepping out into the winter light for confetti and photographs on the famous steps.
After the ceremony the celebrations continued across town at The Fox and Pheasant in Chelsea, where guests gathered for a relaxed and joyful evening in one of London’s most charming neighbourhood pubs.
CEREMONY AT CHELSEA OLD TOWN HALL
Chelsea Old Town Hall is one of London’s most popular venues for intimate civil ceremonies, known for its elegant ceremony rooms and its distinctive red-brick façade just off the King’s Road. The building has a long history as a registry office and is a favourite choice for couples planning a small London wedding in the heart of Chelsea.
After the ceremony many couples gather on the iconic steps outside for confetti and photographs before continuing their celebrations elsewhere in the city, making it a wonderful starting point for a relaxed London wedding day.
COUPLE PORTRAITS IN CHELSEA
After their ceremony we took a short walk through Chelsea for portraits, making the most of the soft winter light and the quiet streets around the town hall. With its elegant architecture and calm corners, the neighbourhood offers a beautiful backdrop for relaxed portraits before the celebrations continue elsewhere in the city.
Chelsea is always a wonderful place for wedding photographs, with its mix of classic London buildings and intimate streets creating a sense of space and calm in the middle of the city.
RECEPTION AT THE FOX & PHEASANT, CHELSEA
After the ceremony the celebrations continued at The Fox & Pheasant in Chelsea, one of London’s most charming neighbourhood pubs. Tucked just off the King’s Road, it’s a wonderfully intimate setting for a wedding reception, with warm interiors, candlelight and a relaxed atmosphere that immediately makes guests feel at home.
Friends and family gathered for drinks, dinner and an evening of laughter as the celebrations unfolded in the cosy dining rooms. It was the perfect place to continue the day after the ceremony, allowing Rosie and Laura to celebrate surrounded by the warmth and easy atmosphere that makes this Chelsea pub such a special place.
