French Wedding Photography at Chateau de la Bourdaisiere ~ Marlie & Kevin

This was a wedding uniting a Canadian-American-Senegalese bride and a French groom in the presence of friends and family from around the world and required a beautiful and exciting setting - which Chateau de la Bourdaisiere duly offered (this is the second wedding I have shot at the Chateau de la Bourdaisiere.  You can see Marie Isabel & Nicolas' wedding here.)

With a relationship that spanned 6 years, 4 countries and 3 continents, Marlie and Kevin wanted their guests to enjoy a very personal ceremony which offered the best of France whilst also reflecting their rich cultural and travel experiences.

This was one of my favourites weddings of the year.  This couple radiated warmth and compassion and were so relaxed with each other that the photography was an absolute delight.

I adored the mismatched bridesmaids dresses and the floral designers who integrated succulents into the floral arrangements for an unusual and striking decoration.  I also want to make special mention to Syliva, the hair and make-up artist who stepped in on the morning of the wedding do do the entire bridal party's hair and make up after the booked suppliers canceled!!!! on the morning of the wedding - surely every brides worst nightmare - Marlie was amazingly calm all things considered.
